Summit Bank has an opening for a Client Services Representative located in our Ft. Walton Beach office. This is a full time, non-exempt position in Retail Banking responsible for performing routine branch and customer services duties. Duties include, but are not limited to, retail and commercial checking and savings deposits, placing holds, issuing receipts, cashing checks, savings withdrawals, operating a computer to process account activity, determine balances, and resolve problems, issuing official checks, assisting with night depository duties, etc. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

We are seeking candidates with education/experience:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and 1 year of related experience and/or training; or the equivalent combination of education and experience. Work related experience should consist of a cash handling and/or customer service background. Educational experience, through in-house training sessions, formal school or financial industry related curriculum that is business or financial industry related.
  • Basic experience, knowledge and training in branch operation activities, terminology and products and services; related state and federal banking compliance regulations, and other Bank operational policies; skills in computer operations; word processing and spreadsheet software; basic typing and math skills; effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills; ability to deal with routine problems; organizational and time management skills; ability to work with general supervision while performing duties.
